The 2023 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is set to take place in the heart of Las Vegas on a brand-new street circuit utilising the iconic Las Vegas Strip. The race will be the third and final race in the US in 2023.

A major upside of this race is proliferation of accommodation. There are some 150,000 rooms within close proximity to the street circuit. And most of those hotel rooms are just a 15 minute drive from the airport.

Most attendees will not require a car given the short walk from most accommodation to the track.

Unfortunately, accommodation prices for race weekend will be priced at the upper end and already much of it has sold out. Additionally, I suspect that to book a room many hotels will want you to purchase a ticket package from them as well.

When it comes to meeting and seeing the drivers, I have a feeling you won’t be getting anywhere near them or the paddock swipe gates unless you have a paddock club ticket.

Ticket pricing for the event is among the most expensive of the year, with a 3-day Turn 1 ticket starting at 2.5k USD.

Remember this event is unique, with action taking place from Wednesday to Saturday, not Thursday to Sunday. And while it’s unlikely you’ll see drivers partying late from Wednesday to Friday, expect to see plenty of them out on the town after the race on Saturday night.

Las Vegas will put on quite a show with it’s multiple casinos, nightclubs, extravagant restaurants, and high-end shopping centres up and down the strip. If you’re planning to attend this race, I recommended you book now and have plenty of cash in your wallet.
