About Pierre
Pierre Gasly is one of 2 French drivers on the grid, the other being Esteban Ocon.
He made his F1 debut with Toro Rosso at the 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix and was promoted to sister team Red Bull in 2019. His time alongside Max Verstappen was short though as his results were some way off what Red Bull were expecting. At the half way point of the 2019 season he was relegated to Alpha Tauri and Alex Albon took his seat.
With much of the pressure now off him he turned in some impressive performances back at Alpha Tauri, notching his first podium in Brazil that year. In 2020 he continued to improve and took his maiden F1 victory at the 2020 Italian Grand Prix.
Pierre is not only a solid driver, he is a leader off-track in the business side of the sport offering a range of personal merchandise and even a range of NFTs via his website.
Pierre is one of the most genuine and caring F1 racers I’ve met and is universally liked in the paddock.
In 2023 Pierre moved from Alpha Tauri to Alpine, replacing 2 time world champion Fernando Alonso.
